Milliken Elementary School is located in Milliken, Colorado in the Re 5J School District. The Re 5J School District combines the communities of Johnstown (population approximately 5,000) and Milliken (population approximately 3,400), two small but growing agricultural towns approximately 50 miles north of Denver on I 25 and several miles east of Highway 60.
Milliken Elementary was built in 1977. At that time Milliken Elementary was a kindergarten through fifth grade school. In 1980, it became a kindergarten through second grade configuration.
