Full-Time Online Students Welcome Back!

Welcome back, Mustangs!

I hope all of you had an amazing Winter Break with family and loved ones!  We are excited to get the 2nd semester underway.  With the 1st semester, we were able to learn and refine our systems to better meet the needs of our students.  We have done our best to anticipate questions and concerns you may have as we start 2nd semester.  Our staff continues to be committed to partnering with each of you to support your child’s academic success.  

Class Schedules and Meeting Times

Class schedules for 2nd semester are done and able to be viewed on Infinite Campus.  Due to the online schedule and grade level cohorts, we will be unable to make schedule changes unless it’s an extenuating circumstance.

If your child has Enrichment on M/W, he/she is in Cohort 1 in the appropriate grade level.  If your child has Enrichment on T/R, he/she is in Cohort 2 in the appropriate grade level. You can view your child’s daily schedule on our Milliken Middle School Online Learning website under the “schedule” tab.  On the “schedule” tab, you can select your child’s grade level and cohort and view when their Zoom classes will meet.  

You’ll notice on your child’s schedule, he/she will be on a block schedule to help minimize their screen time and information overload. In the schedule, we have built in office hours, one-on-one instruction time to help students and parents with technology, classwork or any other needs they may have.  

Google Classroom Codes and Invitations

Your child will receive an “invitation” to join their class via Google Classroom by Wednesday, January 6th.  In order to view the invitation, your child will need to login to Google Classroom and click “join” for any new courses listed.  They can find the “join” link on the dashboard of Google Classroom.  If your child does not receive an invitation or has problems, please contact his/her teacher.

Parent Night

Tomorrow, January 5th at 6:00 p.m., we will be having a parent night for our full time online program families.  I strongly encourage your child and you to attend this meeting for important information and changes to the program. Please use this link below to access the meeting.
