Lunch Application Information - meal application for 2018-19 school year released August 1, 2018.
The 2017 - 2018 school year lunch applications will expire on September 29, 2018. Your child will change to paid on September 30, 2018, unless you fill out a new application and are approved for free/reduced price meals whichever comes first for the 2018-19 school year. You will receive a letter by mail from Weld RE-5J School District stating your free/reduced approval or denial.
The Weld County School District RE-5J encourages ALL families
to fill out the lunch application. All information is confidential.
The application will be available after August 1, 2018 via the link, the district office, or each school office. Please return the application by mail or in-person to the following address:

KQA grades 6 – 8 $2.50
Milliken Elementary, Letford, Pioneer Ridge & KQA K – 5 $2.35

Reduced Price Lunch:
Grades 9th - 12th $0.40
Please note: The USDA now says if you qualify for reduced meals, students in grades K-8 will now eat breakfast and lunch at no charge.
No Charging Allowed - Please pre- pay so your child will be able to eat! You can find out what they owe on the parent portal or call Gena at 970-587-6055, or Chrissy at 970.587.6808
Charging of meals is not allowed. If your student goes through the lunch line and charges, parents are responsible for those charges. Please pre- pay for student meals in one of the following ways:
Check made out to Weld RE-5J, with the student's legal name and grade on the memo line, and dropped at the available boxes in the school office.
Payments can be made in the parent portal with a credit card, service charge fee applies.
Cash payments in an envelope with student's legal name and grade, and the amount enclosed printed clearly on the envelope.
