WE ARE ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL

As members of the community, most of you are fully aware of the building of our new Roosevelt High School. The process, from securing the funds to the design and now construction, has been several years in the making, and we thank the community for their support in making this happen for our students. I understand there is an immense sense of pride in being a Roughrider, whether you are a current student or a family with a long history of Roughrider alumni. In response to this, we have created an opportunity for all to become a permanent fixture of the "New RHS". We have a RHS pavilion area in our new building and within that area we have created an "R" of  Donor Bricks. The Roosevelt "R" will be made up of nearly 2000 bricks, all of them engraved with the names of families and friends of the RHS community, both past and present. Many of our families will include the name of the family, the names of the students with the year they have or will graduate from RHS. 

The website is now active and is available for you to view. Specific information about what the money raised from this project will be earmarked for is included within the site. The link is below, and many of our community members have already purchased a brick and found the site easy to use.

Como miembros de la comunidad, la mayoría de ustedes están al tanto de la construcción de nuestra nueva escuela, Roosevelt High School. El proceso, desde asegurar los fondos hasta el diseño y construcción, ha sido de varios años, y le agradecemos a la comunidad el apoyo para hacer esto posible para nuestros estudiantes. Entendemos que hay un inmenso sentido de orgullo en ser un “Roughrider” ya sea usted un estudiante o miembro de la familia con un historial de alumnos “Roughriders”. En respuesta a esto, hemos creado una oportunidad para que todos dejen una marca permanente de la nueva escuela RHS. Tenemos un pabellón en el nuevo edificio y en esta misma área hemos creado una “R” de ladrillos donados. La “R” de Roosevelt será construida con cerca de 2000 ladrillos, todos con los nombres de familias y amigos de la comunidad grabados, de ambos, del pasado y del presente. Muchas de nuestras familias incluirán el nombre de la familia, los nombres de los estudiantes con el año en que se graduaron o se graduarán de RHS.
