What is Career Academy?

Career Academy is a form of Concurrent Enrollment as it provides students with the opportunity to take college classes while still in high school and to receive dual credit. However, it differs from the Concurrent Enrollment program in various ways.

Career Academy students take outlined college courses in the participating Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs (free of charge for the student), which allows them to earn certificates in those programs.
