Background
As a result of our community showing its support of Weld RE-5J School District and the future of our children through the passing of a bond and mill levy override in 2020, we are building a new high school (due to be completed in 2023). Once the new high school is complete, the current high school will be converted into a middle school. Thank you voters! To find out more about the bond and mill levy projects click here.
The Ask
The Board of Education is asking for naming suggestions for the new replacement middle school that will be opened the Fall of 2024. Please submit your suggestions! The board will review all suggestions and make a decision by the end of April, 2023. You only need to share your suggestion once since multiple suggestions of the same name will be filtered out.
