Student Data Privacy

The Student Data Transparency and Security Act defines Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is data, that alone or in combination, personally identifies an individual student or the student's parent or family. PII data is provided by the parent/guardian at the time of the student's registration in the school district.  Weld RE-5J only collects data that is mandatory for state and federal reporting. How do we use and share this information?

Contract and On-Demand Providers

Weld RE-5J has two types of providers in the district.  A Contract Provider is an entity that provides a service subject to a formal, negotiated contract. A list of contracted providers and their appropriate contract can be found here.

An On-Demand Provider is an entity that provides a service subject agreement to standard, non-negotiable terms and conditions of service established by the provider.
