April 1, 2020 Dear Parent/Guardian: Weld RE-5J is contacting you to try to help alleviate some burdens associated with the COVID-19 furloughs, layoffs or drop in pay. At this point your student is a full pay student for meals; some with very high balances owed. We have been emailing charge notices each week to the email address associated with the guardian of each student. We are thankful to those who have kept their students’ accounts current. -
The Summer Food Service Program, funded by the USDA, helps schools and community-based sites like churches and recreation centers offer free meals to kids and teens up to 18 years old throughout the summer.
