Nate Sassano

Mr. Sassano was elected to the Board in 2019 and serves as the Vice President. He has been a resident of Johnstown since 2004 and earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming. Mr. Sassano works for Denver Water and has managed corporate wellness programs for over 20 years. His wife is a STEM teacher in Weld RE-5J and they have two daughters who are students in the district.

One of Mr. Sassano’s key goals is to ensure the district provides exceptional facilities for all students and has a long-term plan in place to develop and maintain those facilities. He is delighted with the progress made to date and is excited for the future.
