My name is Kathy Pickert. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Reading from the University of Northern Colorado. I have taught Title, Kindergarten, Third and First grade. I am starting my 18th year in the GREATEST job ever! Fifteen of these years have been at MES, 11 in First grade. Before my teaching career I was a stay at home mom and ran a licensed childcare for 13 years. I believe that all children are amazing learners and they learn at their own pace along with lots of love, support and encouragement.
