Hi, I'm Stephanie Swedenborg. I am new to fifth grade this year at Milliken Elementary School. I've been teaching for 15 years. I've taught fourth grade, third grade, second grade, kindergarten, and now fifth grade. I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education k-6 from Hastings College where I played collegiate soccer. I have my Masters degree from Leslie University in Curriculum and Instruction: Through and with the Arts. On top of these degrees, I have recently added a Reading Endorsement, and I am one credit away from my ELL endorsement. Over the years I have continued my education to learn skills to advance my pedagogy, such as Depth and Complexity, the Science of Reading, technology, math, and cultural and diversity.
